Is TicketSathi an IRCTC product?
No. TicketSathi is an independent Chrome extension. It works on the official IRCTC website and is not affiliated with IRCTC or Indian Railways.
Does it guarantee a confirmed Tatkal ticket?
No tool can. It removes the typing and gets you to the booking step on time. Whether seats are left depends on demand and on IRCTC.
Does it enter OTPs or pay for me?
Never. It pauses for the captcha, mobile OTP and Aadhaar OTP, and stops at the payment page with your method selected. You complete them.
Is this allowed by IRCTC?
TicketSathi is a personal browser tool that works in your own signed-in IRCTC session. It does not bypass captchas, OTPs or payment. Read IRCTC's terms yourself; you are responsible for how you use your account.
Which classes and quotas does it support?
All the classes IRCTC lists, including 1A, 2A, 3A, 3E, SL, CC, EC, 2S, FC, EA and Vistadome, and the General, Tatkal, Premium Tatkal, Ladies, Senior Citizen, Duty Pass and Divyang quotas.
Do I still need to be at my laptop?
Yes, for the last step. After the booking click you enter the OTP, any captcha IRCTC shows, and pay. Everything in between is automatic.
Where is my IRCTC password stored?
Encrypted in your browser on this device. It is never sent to our servers, and you can clear it from the Login section at any time.
Does it work on the new IRCTC website?
Yes. It works on the current site and the classic one, and you pick which one a scheduled start opens. Updates arrive through the Chrome Web Store, so you never reinstall.
Which browsers does it work in?
Google Chrome on Windows, macOS and Linux. Keep Chrome open and the laptop awake for a scheduled start.
How do I pay for a pass?
Sign in inside the extension with your mobile number, then choose a 24-hour, weekly, 2-week or monthly pass. Passes start when you buy them and do not renew on their own.
